Aftermath

The battle in Corsica (between Genova and Sisilia) is a symmetrical standoff.

As our rules say, a supporting unit cannot be supported. Certain players disagree heavily upon this rule, but there it is. Thus, the Florentian army has to retreat from Pisa.

According to our rules, if there are two military units in a province and they do not belong to the same player, then no one controls anything in that province. Hence, Cosimo and Mehmed control no cities. However, they stay in the game; a player is eliminated only when other players control all of his/her cities.

Hear us all you Righteous Defenders of Christianity!

Frederick, that minion of the lord of the Hell, has launched his cruel Imperial Secret Police to hunt down our valiant Knights. They mercilessly persecute the innocent helpless people from Tirol to Ungarn, burning and destroying the houses of honest peasants, torturing the men, raping the wives and sending the children into slavery to dig silver to satisfy the needs of greedy Frederick. But these brave people won't give up the sake of ours; even the burning iron can't force them to reveal our fellowship.

All the noble Knights of The Defenders of Christianity will bow their head to honour your bravery. Your deeds shall not be forgotten, your families shall be protected. The stinking black blood of Frederick shall run as our Blades of Justice slice through his cruel heart. And the last thing his eyes growing dim will see are the shadows of the victims of his terror, waiting for his cowardly soul, waiting for him, waiting for their revenge on him.

We are The Bane of Frederick
