The combined attack of France, Genoa and Milan crushes the duchy
of Savoy - duke Ludvig escapes into the court of Burgundy! The cities of
Toulon and Montferrat take Ludvig's orphan troops into their service.
Hungary unites with Austria.
Land battles in Florence and Bosnia, a naval battle at the sea of
Toulon.
Ducat Expenditures seen on the map:
Florence buys the independent Strozzian army in Florence.
Austria buys the independent garrison in Hungary.
Military Operations:
- FRANCE: Provence --> Mer de Toulon, FAILS. Avignon supports
Savoia in favour of Genoa, Schweitz supports Torino in favour of Milan.
- SAVOIA: Torino --> Monferrato, Saluzzo holds, Mer de Toulon holds
(duke Ludvig gave an order to a fleet in Provence to advance
to Marseille, which the judge considered invalid, since there was no
Savoyian fleet in Provence).

Nizza

Aftermath
The papal army in Perugia was able to advance into Siena, because the advance
order given to the Florentian army was cancelled due to an overwhelming
attack from San Marino. The Florentian army retreats into Pisa, which is
the only friendly province for that retreat.
The Turkish army in Bosnia retreats into Ragusa; no other provinces are available.
Savoy loses all her cities to other players and is therefore
eliminated from the game. Mille grazie, Giancarlo; your career as the
duke Luigi was short but colourful. Savoian units were in existence
during the Military Unit Operations Phase; after that - according to
our current rules - they become independent. This now happens at the
sea of Toulon and in Monferrato. The Savoian army in Saluzzo is
disbanded however, because there may be not more than one independent
unit in a province (including the city).
The rebellion comes to an end in Pontremoli, since there is no one to
rebel against. Aosta and Pontremoli are now uncontrolled.
Hear us all you righteous Defenders of Christianity!
Hear our pledge! The Bane of Ladislaus, The Cruel Emperor Frederick III - be thy name ever cursed - has set his skeleton-hands
around the heart of the Jewel of Adriatic. The very existence of the fabled city of Venice is threatened by the foul intentions of
loathed Frederick. As if the treason of Ladislaus wouldn't have been enough Frederick is about to enslave our brothers polishing
the golden dome of Holy San Marco and the fate of our helpless and innocent sisters we don't even dare to speak aloud.
The evilness of his is beyond anything anybody has ever witnessed. Rise against the terror of Frederick!
Sacrifice yourself in the holy battle against the raising Evil that threatens the people of Venice. Your names will be written in the
Holy Book of our brotherhood and all the generations to come shall praise your names. Your bravery shall not be forgotten,
your sacrifice shall not be in vain. We are The Bane of Fredric!
Pro Ladislaus
Hear! Hear!
Never has there been a more foul deed, than that performed against the noble
house of Savoia!
Never a betrayal more unexpected!
In Nice and Turin people of every social class howl his/her
scorn against the Dominion in Genoa, the Dominion thas has
caused the loss of cities of the Savoia. The citizens of Savoia
shout shame to the Genoeses and they pledge all the
near populations to distrust the plots in Genoa!!!
